It's an "Out of This World" challenge with a Cash Prize. Tournament format is a team double elimination. Teams will be randomly selected but here's the challenge: the members of the winning team will compete in a solo elimination game to determine the one and only Cash Prize winner. Other members of the winning team will get a free mission pass. Cash Prize is half the enrollment fees up to $100 dollar- even at only 10 players, the winner takes $50!. Congratulations to MJ Griesmer, a 6th grade student from Mariemont Elementary, for winning The ‘Out of This World Creative’ Scholarship awarded by Lazer Kraze (A $500 college Scholarship) at the 2012 Cincinnati Regional Invention Convention competition Saturday. His invention was “ECOCURRUS”, a device that uses wind turbine technology as an alternative fuel source. Awesome job MJ!
The overall winner for the regional convention was 4th grader Rosa Grippa from Clermont Northeastern School who was the 'Out of this World Creative' Scholarship winner in 2011. Way to go Rosa!
