So how does this work with the portable gear?

You can schedule the portable gear by the hour. This gear can be used inside or outside. For outside events, if you have trees, bushes, playsets and other things that provide cover for the players there is no need to rent the bunkers. If you have an open play area with no obstacles (like trees) you may also schedule the blow up bunkers. Five bunkers are usually more than enough for a backyard party. An 11 bunker field works better for larger group events. Lazer Kraze staff will arrive shortly before your scheduled start time for setup. A standard electrical outlet is required for a bunker field or the Laser Markers. Lazer Kraze staff remains onsite to instruct player's and facilitate game play.

Since our portable laser tag gear is designed primarily for outdoor use, lasers are not used. The same IR technology used by the laser tag vests in the stores is also used for tagging by the portable gear. You know a player is tagged when the handband on the laser rifles or IR hopper on the laser markers lights up and the tag acknowledgement sound is played. And of course, you can always tell by the expression of the player's face you just tagged.

Pricing for the gear usually starts at $250 per hour. An 11 bunker field starts at $175. Setup and travel fees may apply and do vary so please call for pricing. A signed agreement and deposit is required to reserve a date and player waivers may be required.

FAQ for Backyard Parties

Do I need the bunkers for my backyard party?

No, definitely not if you have a backyard that has some obstacles. Great games are held in backyards or even neighborhoods that have some trees, bushes, porches and other landscaping. The bunkers are only needed if you have a big, flat area.

How long should I reserve the gear for?

1 hour is a good length for most backyard parties unless you have a large group using the laser markers or some real laser tag enthusiasts. Usually a backyard party will start with laser tag then we will pack up and be on our way while you continue with your other activities like cake and presents.

How many games do we play?

We can play various game formats and games times. It also depends on the players. A typical game last about 8 minutes.

FAQ for Group Events

Which gear should I reserve?

We recommend the laser markers for most group events and parties with more than 14 players. This gear maximizes the play with 20 players per game. For smaller groups or groups looking for structured team building the laser tag rifles work well.

Can we schedule games and sell tickets?

YES! We can run timed games to accommodate selling tickets for certain times. A volunteer will be needed to collect tickets and it usually works best to have volunteers to help keep the line organized and moving effectively.

The laser tag markers are small for easy handling, allows for up to 22 players per game, displays player stats and maximizes play time. We provide music, the laser tag gear and staff to run the games. A variety of game formats provide fun for hours. This system requires an electrical outlet.

Need a playing field?

Our inflatable bunkers are much more portable and provide a larger playing field than the traditional inflatable arena. We can bring our inflatable bunkers to you for a professional battle field. Pricing starts at $175 for an 11 bunker field. An electrical outlet is required with in 100 feet of the play field.

Paintball without the Pain!

Love the thrill of paintball but not so thrilled about the pain, mess and use of compressed air. Our laser tag markers provide the same feel and thrill of paintball without the pain and risk. We can configure game formats just like paintball . . 1 and out.

Backyard Party

Combine the great tradition of a backyard party with some "Out of This World" high tech fun. Package includes our S7 laser tag rifles for up to 14 players (no player swapping please). We provide the laser tag gear, camo bandanas, all the gaming extras, and a staff member to train your comrades and run the games. Pricing starts at only $250 for the first hour of play. Add 5 bunkers for $100.

Large Party or Group Event

Combine 11 of our inflatable bunkers with up to 22 laser tag markers for the ultimate group setup. With 8 min. games and 22 markers you can get up to 130+ players through in 1 hour. Game times and formats can be customized for your event to meet your groups needs. We bring all the gear, setup, provide music and staff to facilitate the games. Pricing starts at $250 per hour plus $175 for the 11 bunker field. An electrical outlet is required.
